Bio
I'm a science journalist based in Providence, Rhode Island. I have an undergraduate degree in botany, and a special interest in marine biology, environmental issues, and wildlife—but, being a curious gal, I am happy to delve into just about any field of science. I was a senior editor at Natural History magazine for about five years, where I edited features, book reviews, and the news column "Samplings." Before that I earned an MA from the Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program at New York University. My work appears in a variety of publications.
